Step 1- Your offer was accepted. What are the immediate steps? Escrow will be opened and you will need to deposit the earnest money. We will also need to schedule the home inspection.
Step 2- Once the home inspection is completed, we need to have a plan for what to focus on in the repair request.
Step 3- As we wait for the appraisal report to come back, we will prepare for the potential negotiation that could take place if the appraisal does not come in at value.
Step 4- At this stage, it often seems like nothing is happening but there are many steps behind the scenes to be aware of.
Step 5- When the lender gives a “clear to close” that signals some next steps as we get closer to the end of the transaction.
